Rose Namajunas is one of the most successful female athletes within the UFC. Her beginnings were as an amateur fighter, competing in different regional promotions. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her in and then she signed up for Ultimate Fighting Championships. Due to her successes both inside and beyond the Octagon, Namajunas has become known as a common name since joining UFC. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball as she was growing up.
